Workers' Compensation

When you are injured at work, you can’t usually sue your employer. Instead, you can claim workers’ compensation benefits, which pay your medical bills and some disability benefits while you are unable to work.  If your injury is permanent, you may be able to recover additional disability benefits.  Other benefits could be available if your doctor also says you cannot return to your old job.

If your injury was caused by a third party who is not a co-employee or caused by a defective machine or product, you may also have a personal injury claim in addition to your workers’ compensation claim.  It is important that one hand knows what the other is doing when it comes to having two claims at once.  We can help insure you get the workers’ compensation benefits you deserve and we help insure that you at the same time receive proper compensation if you do have a third party claim.  We do not get a fee on these claims unless you recover money.

Arkansas has a workers’ compensation law that is very hostile to employees.  There are many benefits you won’t be told you can claim by the insurance company or employer. We have over 30 years experience handling workers’ compensation claims.  A call for a free consultation with our attorneys will answer many questions you have, and if you need help, there is no fee unless you receive a settlement or award of disability benefits.
