Chapman

Dustin Thomas Chapman, Partner, has 10 years experience in private law practice and he is licensed to practice in all Arkansas and federal courts.

Dustin’s practice covers a wide scope of general areas:

  • Family Law (divorces, adoptions, guardianships, name changes, and child support issues),

  • Criminal Law in Faulkner County Circuit and District Courts (DWI, traffic offenses, drug charges, and criminal expungments),

  • Landlord/Tenant issues, (lease preparation and evictions),

  • Real Estate (deed preparation and quiet title actions)

  • Personal Injury Claims (car accidents, slip-and-fall injuries)

  • General Civil Litigation for both Plaintiffs and Defendants

  • Estate planning:  (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate matters of decedent’s estates.)

An Arkansas native from Izard County, Dustin attended college at UCA and is a 2006 graduate of UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, having received scholarship honors from Sidney McMath and Guy Amsler Jr. Foundations. He previously held clerkships and staff positions in the United States Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of Arkansas, the United States Senate, and Faulkner County Circuit Judiciary.

Dustin is the City Attorney and prosecutor for Greenbrier and the City of Guy.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce as Vice President and is a member of the Faulkner County and Arkansas Bar Associations.

Dustin takes a very client-centered approach to practicing law. He knows that most clients don’t take pleasure in dramatic legal fights so he focuses on reaching true solutions to legal problems, not just verdicts. It’s about doing everything possible to meet his client’s objectives. Many of Dustin’s clients have been thrilled to find out that their case can be closed satisfactorily without messy fights and without ever stepping into the courtroom.

Outside of his legal practice, Dustin loves all types of music and attending concerts, traveling, being on the lake -- and daydreaming about being on the lake.
